Template Replies allow you to effectively work on your dialogue flows without making any changes to your live bot. To create one, follow these steps:
- Open your list of Template Replies from Dashboard > Contents > Template Replies
- Click “Create Template Reply”, found in the top right corner (Picture)
- Fill out both fields, “Name” and “Reply Text”
- To edit the Reply, click the pencil icon to the far right of the template reply (small picture of the pencil, inline)
Now, by clicking Go To Dialogue Builder, you’ll be able to open the Dialogue Builder and start working on a dialogue flow for your bot. You can also replace existing replies with the new templates you’ve made; see Replacing Replies (hyperlink).
ℹ️ Note: Naming best practices
Category Names: We recommend dividing categories into "Structural" and "Meaningful".
Descriptions Names: Descriptions should not just be an expression, but rather the exact combined meaning of all expressions.
