The automation engine is now automatically turned on/off when you authenticate or unauthenticate.
This change has been done to ensure that no situations occur where a disconnect is created between Zendesk and Ultimate.
To turn off the automation engine for Zendesk Messaging bots, you can navigate to the Zendesk Admin Center and 'Disconnect' your bot. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Open the Admin Center in Zendesk. This can be found on the top right corner of your console.
- Search for Bots under Channels > Bots and Automation > Bots > Conversation Bots
- Disconnect the bot. This will only disconnect the bot and will not delete it. You can reconnect the bot at any time of your choosing.
The bot is now disconnected and can be reconnected again at any point in time.
